  • All about Lauren

This blog has pretty much gone from a "Husband and Wifey" blog to a Lauren Watson blog. Chad isn't a blogger... as much as I've tried, he's just not interested in blogging. It might have something to do with the 15 odd hours he's taking for his master level classes at Southern Seminary but we'll just look past it for now. :-) I am currently training to run the Derby Marathon on April 24, 2010. This will be my first marathon and I look forward to running many more in the years to follow. In my blog, you will read a lot about mine and Chad's daily activities, my kitty children, my family, my faith, marathon training, strength training with P90X and see a lot of pictures of food- healthy and not always so healthy. I love writing and sharing my life with people. I believe that was the big reason I was called to be a nurse. I love investing in people's life and I love to be open with my own life. Can't wait to hear from all of you faithful readers and you readers that have stumbled across my page! Please jump on board and join in living life with me.

Family Night

Can you tell I was anxious for 7:08 to roll around so I could clock out from work? I think, yes!

On a side note, the last two mornings Chad has driven me to work. I love it. Getting that extra time getting ready with him in the morning and him driving me into work has been so fun. I love those few extra minutes with him. So this was him when he picked me up from work today. Love it. He’s pretty pumped to be headed to get dinner. See the next paragraph for why he’s excited.

Ok, so I’ve already expressed my love for free food or getting awesome deals on food. So I was so giddy when not only did I get free pizza at work for lunch today but Penn Station Subs in Louisville is now having what they call “Family Night”. This consists of buying one sub and getting the other for free every Tuesday night. I’m all about it. Pretty sweet deal if I do say so myself. So dinner was pretty delicious. Definitely hit the spot after a long, busy day of work. I guess I can settle for a great sandwich if I can’t run due to rain pouring down, huh? Hopefully we’ll have better weather tomorrow evening so I can get a much needed run in. Anyway, that’s about it for me. I’m off to look over my nutrition plan for P90X. Gotta start planning our menus now. Until next time…

Penn Station Sub Board

My delicious ‘dagwood’ sub.  Basically ham, cheese and lots of veggies.  It looks a little lame here but I promise it was packed with some yummy goodness.
